Dave Bradley - Senior Pastor
As the Senior Pastor of First Whitewright, Dave provides teaching, leadership, and guidance for the church as a whole. Following an incredibly radical salvation experience, Pastor Dave has been involved in ministry for the past 35 years helping people to experience the transformational power of Jesus Christ and the amazing grace and love of God. His experience includes over 2 decades of overlapping youth and worship ministry, and 24 years as pastor of 3 churches, including one church plant for 13 years. In addition, Dave worked in the corporate world for 11 years as a Safety Engineer and Corporate Trainer, was also a Band Director for 10 years, and has done a variety of construction related, hands-on contracting as well.
Pastor Dave holds a BS in Industrial Tech\Construction Tech, a Teaching Certification in Music, and Masters of Divinity with Biblical languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth.
Dave met his wife Dawnda at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas. They have 5 children, 1 married, 1 in college, and 3 adopted from Russia enrolled at WWISD. They enjoy their kids sports activities, working ontheir old historic home, and hiking and exploring the National Parks -with a little hunting and fishing on the side.
Dawnda has taught Home Economics at the Jr. High and High School level, and is currently teaching 2 nd grade. Dawnda serves as our AWANA Director in her 21 st year!
